Explore Hisui Pokémon and New Features in Pokémon GO's Timeless Travels Season

As the year of 2023 comes to a close, Niantic is bringing us a new Pokemon GO season! Inspired by the trials of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Timeless Travels will be Pokemon GO’s latest season! 

The season will kick off December 1st, 2023 at 10:00am local time and run until March 1st, 2024. While the big appeal is that Timeless Travels will feature more Pokemon from the Hisui region, there is certainly more in store to look forward to! 

Timeless Travels: Eggs-pedition Access

At the start of each month during the season, Niantic will be providing a new ticketed experience which will include bonuses and Timed Research. Niantic states this will be centered around Pokemon found in the Hiusui region.

Community Days

As always, community days wait around the corner in the new season. Niantic has provided the following dates:

Dec 16-17: Community Day Catch-Up featuring all of the community day Pokemon from 2023. 

Jan 6: ???

Jan 20: Community Day Classic
Feb 4: ???

Raids: 

The following Pokemon will be featured in raids during different dates in December:


Kyurem

Zekrom

Reshiram

Mega Scizor
Mega Abomasnow
Mega Altaria
Shadow Zapdos (Weekends Only)

Research Breakthrough:
The following Pokemon will be featured in Research Breakthroughs during the season: 

Lapras
Galarian Weezing

Galarian Mr. Mime
Furfrou

Goomy

Jangmo-O

Wild Changes:

As the seasons are changing, new Pokemon will be appearing in different regions in the wild

Forests

Mountains

Beaches / Oceans

Northern Hemisphere

Southern Hemisphere

Seasonal Bonuses: 

And no season would be complete without a slew of new bonuses to keep Trainers going. Here is what you can expect starting December 1st:

  • Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon.

  • One additional Candy when trading Pokémon.

  • Trainers level 31 and above will have a higher chance to receive Rare Candy XL from in-person five-star raids.

  • Increased XP for a seven-day PokéStop spin streak.

  • Increased XP and Stardust for a seven-day Pokémon catch streak.
